A tall, cross-ventilated home for a full-grown arboreal tarantula. Thirty by thirty centimetres on the floor, fifty centimetres of climbing height, and low intake bands on every face with exhaust through the upper side bands and the lid, so the air keeps moving without drying out the substrate underneath.

Air enters through low bands on all four faces, their lower edge six centimetres above the floor, and leaves through the upper eight centimetres of both side walls and the fully perforated lid. Every opening is a 3 mm hole on a 6 mm grid, deburred by hand, so nothing is large enough for even a spiderling to pass through.

Built from 5 mm cast acrylic with solvent-welded corners. The horizontal front door slides to the left and locks to the right on three recessed magnets, leaving the opening on the right where your working hand naturally goes in. The lid lifts straight off for full access. The base is solid, with no holes below the substrate line.

Ventilation

Low intake bands on the front, back and both sides, starting 6 cm above the floor so no hole sits below the substrate. Exhaust through the upper 8 cm band on both sides and the fully perforated lid. Every opening is a 3 mm hole on a 6 mm grid, deburred by hand.
